At Casterton Primary Academy, we have a team of people to help support our children.
Mrs Hall is our Special Educatonal Needs and Disabilities Co-ordinator (SENDCo).
Mrs Smalley, Director of Inclusion, oversees the SEND provision across Pendle Education Trust Primary schools.
If you have concerns about your child, please make contact the school office (01282 435657) or email enquiries@castertonprimaryacademy.co.uk and someone will be in touch to help.
The Children and Families Bill passed through Parliament has introduced new legislation in September 2014.
The Government’s aim is to provide better outcomes for children and young people with additional needs and disabilities and to improve the experience of parents/carers when securing support for their children.
As part of the legislation Local Authorities are required to publish a Local Offer www.lancashire.gov.uk/SEND, which will show the special educational provision and support available to disabled children, young people and their families.
The PDF below is the response of Casterton Primary Academy to that Local Offer.
